Arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your riad. Spend the day exploring the bustling souks, Bahia Palace, and the stunning Koutoubia Mosque. End your day at the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.
Depart for Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece. Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and explore the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the tranquil Oudaya Kasbah overlooking the Bouregreg River. Overnight in Rabat.
Travel to Meknes, known for its grand gates and historical landmarks such as Bab Mansour and the Royal Stables. Next, visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Overnight in Fes.
Leave Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll begin a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, drive to the Todra Gorge, where you can marvel at the towering canyon walls. Continue to the Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and scenic landscapes. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse.
Head back towards Marrakech, stopping at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a historic fortress and popular filming location. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
Spend your final day at leisure, shopping for souvenirs or visiting any missed attractions. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
