On the first day of your 3-day Merzouga desert tour, we will pick you up from the airport and head south to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Your evening will include a delicious dinner, and you will spend the night in a desert camp, surrounded by the enchanting desert atmosphere.
On the second day of your Errachidia to Merzouga tour, we will start with a delicious breakfast at your desert camp, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga village. Then, we will embark on a day of exploring the Merzouga desert, cruising through the sands in a 4×4 vehicle. During the trip, we will have the opportunity to visit a nomadic family near the borders of Morocco and Algeria. Afterwards, we will head to the village of dark-skinned people, originally from Sudan, where you will be able to listen to Gnawa music and experience their unique lifestyle. In the evening, we will return to Merzouga, where we will be greeted by an experienced camel guide and friendly camels who will take us on a lovely half-hour ride through the fascinating dunes of Merzouga. We will spend the night in a desert camp under a starry sky.
Today, on your Errachidia to Merzouga tour, we will start with a delicious breakfast at your desert camp, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga village. Then, we will drive to Rissani, the historical foundation of the current ruling family. It is still an important place for trade and has a large market that is busy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Afterwards, we will visit a workshop where they make things out of fossilized marble in Erfoud. Next, we will drive along the Ziz River and stop to enjoy a panoramic view of this valley. Finally, we will return to Errachidia and drop you off at the airport or your hotel, concluding the memorable desert exploration.
